The Triangle Business Journal reports a Florida bank that currently owns the hotel sold it to the Research Triangle Foundation, which plans to tear down the hotel.
It's unclear right now what will replace the hotel, which is slated to close on Nov. 1.
Radisson employees are currently working to relocate conferences and other events scheduled for this fall and winter.
