Authorities investigating after 1-year-old hit by mom's car in driveway

CARY, N.C. (WTVD) -- Authorities are investigating after they say a mother accidentally struck her one-year-old child in the driveway.

According to the Town of Cary, it happened around 7:30 p.m. on Peg Street.

Officials said the child has been taken to WakeMed with serious injuries.
