SPRING LAKE, N.C. (WTVD) -- Authorities are searching for two people in connection with the death of a missing elderly man, whose body was found Monday in a wooded area in Spring Lake.

They are looking for 20-year-old Tracy Channel Williams and 23-year-old Joseph Franklin Lamont Davis, both of Spring Lake, in the killing of 73-year-old Clemasee Guyton of Fayetteville. Both face first degree murder and conspiracy charges.

On Wednesday, their accomplice, 20-year-old Samuel Lorenzo Davis was arrested and charged with first degree murder, common law robbery and felony conspiracy. Additional charges are still pending.

Authorities say Guyton was reported missing on April 22 after family members became concerned when he didn't come home.

Tuesday afternoon, Guyton's remains were recovered in a wooded area behind Mae Rudd Williams Middle School, which is off of the 900 block of Lillington Highway in Spring Lake.

Following Guyton's disappearance, police released surveillance pictures of a man and woman who were seen driving one of Guyton's vehicles. One of the vehicles was found abandoned in Fayetteville, while the other was located in Columbia, South Carolina.

A man has been charged with killing a 73-year-old man who disappeared last month.

Those who knew Guyton said he was the picture of a good neighbor. They said that's why they were shocked and rattled to hear about what happened.

"I can't understand why someone would come and take him, then discard him and hurt him," said Delphine Council.

"This is amazing to me," said Jimmy Bryant. "I don't see who could have done this."

Investigators have not said how Guyton was killed. An investigation is still ongoing at this time.
