East Wake Academy student spends 10th birthday helping others

WAKE COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- One Wake County girl is receiving praise from the ABC11 morning team after she spent her 10th birthday helping others.

Emma DeJoseph, a fourth-grade student at East Wake Academy, invited 100 of her classmates to make presents for those in needs.

The students decorated pots to put in houses and to beautify Habitat for Humanity spots around the Triangle.
