Driver crashes into pole on Bragg Blvd in Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE, North Carolina (WTVD) -- A driver hit a power pole on Bragg Boulevard in Fayetteville, knocking down power lines late Friday afternoon.

The road was blocked Cain Road and Stamper Road.

A woman left the scene of the accident on foot. Police took her into custody a short time later.

Fayetteville Police advise motorist to avoid the area and use alternate routes.

There is no estimate for when the lanes will reopen.
