JACKSONVILLE, Florida (WTVD) -- A double rainbow over Jacksonville Beach, Florida, has become an inspiration for many, acting as the calm before the storm.
As residents prepare of Hurricane Irma, they aren't forgetting to stop and appreciate the little things.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office took a breathtaking photo of the rainbow Thursday, sharing it to their Facebook account saying, "This beautiful site at Jacksonville Beach as we prepare for Hurricane Irma."
The photo has more than 4,000 reactions and over 2,000 shares.
Many Facebook users took to the comment section to express their gratitude and to share bible verses.
On Friday, Hurricane Irma weakened slightly to a Category 4 storm but it's expected to keep that dangerous strength when it hits Florida south of Miami on Sunday.
