Motorcyclist killed in crash on Highway 55 in Durham

DURHAM, N.C. -- Durham police are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist on Highway 55 Tuesday evening.

It happened just after 7 p.m. when a car and motorcycle collided.

The male driver of the motorcycle died at the scene.

Highway 55 between Cornwallis and Riddle Road will be closed until further notice.
