Man fatally shot in north Durham identified

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Durham police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened Thursday night.

Authorities said 21-year-old Jamel Small of Henderson was found dead inside a vehicle in the 1400 block of Ida Street at 8:51 p.m. after suffering a gunshot wound.

Further details surrounding the incident have not been released.
