Two shot at party in Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Fayetteville police are investigating after two people were shot at a party on Sunday.

Police responded to a call just before 1:30 a.m. Sunday on Stanhope Street in Fayetteville.

Authorities say several people were at a party when things got out of hand. Gunshots were fired in the street in front of the residence.

Two people were shot and were treated for non-life threatening injuries, according to police. They were both taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center and are in good condition.
