Authorities: Domestic altercation led to Graham man's death

GRAHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- Authorities in Graham are investigating a fatal shooting following a domestic disturbance between a boyfriend and girlfriend early Monday morning.

Around 3 a.m., Graham police were called to a home on Webster Road about a shooting.

When they arrived, they found 32-year-old Elijah Bryan Clinedinst dead from an apparent gunshot wound to his neck.

His girlfriend 22-year-old Ericka Lee Dark was also at the home.

Authorities said an altercation between the couple led to Clinedinst's shooting death.

No criminal charges have been filed in this case since the investigation is ongoing and incomplete at this time, according to authorities.

Officials said the couple moved into the home in May, and there had been no calls associated with the pair or the address before Monday's incident.
