Highway Patrol investigates fatal wreck in Harnett County

HARNETT COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash in Harnett County.

It happened just before 12:30 a.m. on Saturday near Highway 24 and Brooks Magnum Road.

Emergency officials told our crew on the scene overnight that one person was killed. Two others were taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Their identities have not yet been released.

There was no word on their conditions or how many vehicles were involved.
