DURHAM (WTVD) -- Police are investigating an assault that left a man seriously injured on Friday.
Authorities said it happened just before 2 p.m. on Holloway Street near Rochelle Street.
Police found the victim at a bus stop. They said he was beaten up and knocked into the street, where he was hit by a car. There's no word yet on who did this or why.
A spokesperson with Durham police said the victim's condition has improved and his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Durham police did not release any additional information.
