Man taken to hospital after Durham shooting

DURHAM (WTVD) -- A man was hospitalized after he was shot in the leg Tuesday night in Durham.

It happened in the 1300 block of Fayetteville Street about 8:45 p.m., Durham Police said.

The man suffered what are thought to be non-life threatening injuries. Police did not release the victim's name.

Police do not have a suspect and the shooting remains under investigation.
