Man stabbed outside convenience store in downtown Raleigh dies: RPDPolice confirm the man who died was 27-year-old Mark Garrity Jr.

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Raleigh police confirm the man who was stabbed outside of a downtown store has died.

On Sunday, a store employee told ABC11 the owner of Taz's supermarket got into a scuffle with Mark Garrity Jr., 27.

Officers said Garrity died after he was taken to the hospital on Thursday.

The incident happened outside of Taz's Supermarket One which is located in the 200 block of South Wilmington St near the East Hargett Street intersection.

Investigators said everybody involved in what happened has been identified and there is no threat to the public.
