Motorcyclist seriously injured in Durham hit and run

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- A motorcyclist was transported to the hospital with serious injuries after a Sunday evening hit and run in Durham.

Durham Police responded to the scene of a hit and run at the intersection of Holloway Street and Hardee Street around 6:30 p.m.

Authorities said the motorcyclist is expected to survive.

There is no word on the possible suspect.
