Goldsboro man charged in sexual assault on 10-year-old

GOLDSBORO (WTVD) -- A Goldsboro man has been charged in connection with a sexual assault on a child.

Kenneth Lee Williams, 30, of the 1700 block of Palm Court was arrested Thursday and charged with one count of statutory rape.

Goldsboro Police said the case involved a 10-year-old child.

Williams was taken to the Wayne County Magistrate's Office and is being held under a $1 million bond.
