NEVADA (WTVD) -- The state of Nevada became the fifth state in the U.S. to legalize marijuana for recreational use.
Stores began selling marijuana when the clock struck midnight Saturday.

Marijuana is still illegal at the federal level. Nevada state officials have not figured out how marijuana will be regulated.
Advocates say that a 10 percent tax on marijuana is expected to bring in more than 60 million dollars over the next two years.
