1 injured in drive-by shooting on Old Oxford Road, police say

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- One person was hospitalized after a drive-by shooting Friday morning in Durham.

According to authorities, the shooting happened around 1:58 a.m. in the 400 block of Old Oxford Road.

Police said one victim suffered a single gunshot wound and was taken to a hospital. The injury was not considered life-threatening.

No information about a suspect has been released, and investigators have not said what led to the shooting.

The investigation remains ongoing.
