
HOPE MILLS, N.C. (WTVD) -- Authorities are investigating a deadly Saturday shooting involving a teenager on Fox Ridge Road.
Patrol officers were called to the scene around 12:20 a.m. When they arrived, they found a 16-year-old girl who had been shot, according to investigators.
The teen was rushed to a hospital, where she later died.
Police have not released the victim's name or any additional information while they work to notify her family. As of now, no arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
