
DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- Durham Police are investigating after two people were shot inside a car on Tuesday afternoon.
Officers responded just after 3:15 p.m. to a report of a shooting in the 1000 block of Larchwood Drive and found a car damaged by multiple bullet holes. A man and a woman inside the car had gunshot wounds.
Police said someone fired about a dozen shots at a silver Honda Pilot.
Both victims were taken to a hospital. The man had life-threatening injuries, police said, and the woman sustained what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.

Police had crime-scene tape up around the nearby Victorian Life Fellowship Church on Fayetteville Road. ABC11 is working to learn more details.
