3 arrested after series of drive-by shootings at Hope Mills home

HOPE MILLS, N.C. (WTVD) -- Three people are facing charges in connection with three drive-by shootings at the same location in Hope Mills.

Investigators say shots were fired at a home on Streeter Lane three times this month, including a shooting that happened Monday.

Police said 22-year-old Anora Bryant, 35-year-old Jawaun Wotham and 30-year-old Conor Coleman -- all of Hope Mills -- were all charged with three counts of discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling, six counts of felony conspiracy and several other drug charges.

All three suspects were being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center.

They were arrested after investigators found evidence that led to the execution of a search warrant at their Hackberry Drive residence, police said.

The shootings happened because of a financial dispute, police said.
