Accident shuts down northbound I-95, causes backups

HARNETT COUNTY (WTVD) -- An accident shutdown northbound lanes of Interstate 95 in Harnett County around noon Friday.

Both lanes were blocked at exit 75 for Jonesboro Road in Dunn for almost an hour as authorities worked to clear the scene.

Details surrounding the incident have not been released, but images from Chopper11 HD showed a sedan with extensive damage.
