
DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- It's still summer outside, but for students on a traditional calendar, it's time to head back to the classroom.
The first day of school for traditional calendar students is Monday, Aug. 25.

Certain students will be automatically assigned a seat for the coming school year:

Some families may be eligible for free or reduced-price breakfasts and lunches. If so, you must complete a new application. Access an application or see meal prices for breakfast and lunch here.
If your student is new to CHCCS or has recently changed addresses, you may need to request school bus transportation. You should contact your school's data manager to make the bus transportation request.
If your student used CHCCS transportation last year and did not have a change of address, no action is necessary
