RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Over a dozen GoRaleigh bus drivers have cruised into a major milestone.
17 have officially achieved 'Million Miler' status, meaning they've driven at least one million miles over the past 12 years without a preventable accident.
Four of those drivers have doubled that. They have hit two million miles over 24 years without a crash.
Eyewitness News talked with one of those drivers, Rosalind Jones, about the milestone.
"You get the families on the bus, you get the people that you drive on the bus. They grow up," she said. "You see the other kids getting on the bus, and they love the bus atmosphere...You look around, and it's been 12 years...They're graduating high school. So, it's lovely. What I do is lovely."
Jones said she is now aiming for three million miles "if it's God's will."
