NC Chamber holds 2026 Economic Forecast Forum

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- The North Carolina Chamber and North Carolina Bankers Association are hosting their annual Economic Forecast Forum in Durham.

It's an opportunity to hear from state leaders and economic officials about the Triangle's economic health heading into 2026.

The forum will include panels and conversations with regional economic experts and elected officials, all focused on how the Triangle can continue its success story.

That includes deep dives into economic and consumer trends as well as how business leaders are navigating lingering uncertainty from external forces like inflation and tariffs.

The North Carolina Chamber and North Carolina Bankers Association are hosting their annual Economic Forecast Forum in Durham. ABC11's Steve Daniels served as moderator.

There will also be a conversation on how current political forces are impacting business in the Triangle and what's being done to create new investment in our area.

"And then we'll hear from economists, and we'll hear from bankers, and we'll hear from a health care executive about what are the trends that are happening now, so we can make proactive data-informed decisions as they build their plans for 2026," said Gary Salamido.

ABC11 is a proud sponsor of the yearly event, which is moderated by our very own Steve Daniels.
