Fiery crash just outside of Fayetteville leaves 1 person dead

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) -- A fiery crash in Cumberland County left one person dead and a car engulfed in flames.

The incident occurred late Thursday night near Fayetteville on Seabrook School Road near Macedonia Church.

Video footage from the scene shows the car collided with a tree.

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is investigating the cause, and the victim's identity has not yet been released.
