Former VP Kamala Harris brings book tour to Durham

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- Former Vice President Kamala Harris is bringing her book tour to Durham as part of the release of her memoir, 107 DAYS, which chronicles her 2024 presidential run.

The book hits shelves on September 23, with the tour kicking off in New York City the following day.

Harris will visit DPAC on Wednesday, October 15, where she'll share insights from her journey, what she learned, and her vision for the future. Tickets include a copy of the book, and VIP options are available, offering a photo opportunity with Harris and a signed copy of 107 DAYS. The event begins at 7 p.m.

Harris lost the 2024 presidential election to Republican candidate and former President Donald Trump.

"The outcome of this election is not what we wanted, not what we fought for, not what we voted for. But ... the light of America's promise will always burn bright as long as we never give up," she said during her concession speech.
