Goldsboro teen charged with murder after 2 men found shot to death

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WTVD) -- Two people were killed in a shooting in Goldsboro on Saturday afternoon.

The Goldsboro Police Department responded around 5 p.m. to a report of two people who had been shot at the 600 Block of W. Oak Street.

When officers arrived, they found Nasire Green, 20, of Goldsboro, and Tristen Mason, 20, of Dudley, suffering from gunshot wounds. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators identified a 17-year-old Goldsboro male as a suspect. Police have not released his name. He was charged with two counts of murder and two counts of felony conspiracy.

The suspect was taken into custody. He was served with warrants and placed in the custody of the Pitt Juvenile Detention Center. He is being held without bond.

The investigation remains ongoing.
