School van with 13 students aboard involved in multi-car crash in Holly Springs

HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. (WTVD) -- A school van was involved in a multi-vehicle crash Friday afternoon in Holly Springs.

It happened on Holly Springs Road. A spokesperson for the Town of Holly Springs told ABC11 that 13 students were on a Magnolia Montessori van when the crash happened.

The students were not seriously hurt, but the van driver was taken to a hospital.

The students suffered only minor bumps and bruises, the spokesperson said.

Parents were notified to pick up their children at Pine Springs Elementary School.

Three other vehicles were involved in the crash.
