
DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- Jordan High School in Durham was on lockdown Wednesday afternoon after a report of a possible weapon on campus.
The lockdown was lifted around 5 p.m.
Durham Public Schools said the lockdown was a "precautionary measure" after a tip that someone may have seen a gun on school grounds.
Law enforcement officers responded at 4:03 p.m. to the school and conducted a search. Durham police officers and sheriff's deputies found no credible threat, DPD told ABC11.
