
DURHAM COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- A man killed in a Durham County shooting has been identified by law enforcement, and another man is facing a murder charge in the case.
The sheriff's office said the shooting took place at a home on Ardsley Drive just after 5 a.m. Monday.
When deputies got to the scene, they arrested 50-year-old Joseph Stevens at the home after Stevens said he shot someone.
John Edward Tyler, 54, was found dead inside the home.
Stevens is facing a first-degree murder charge.
He is being held in the Durham County Detention Facility with no bond.
