DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Durham County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man was shot Monday night.
Deputies found a person shot around 6:30 p.m. in the 3700 block of Wake Forest Highway. Investigators said the victim was believed to have been shot at another location and drove to a shopping center for help. A small silver car with a bullet hole in the driver's side door was found outside a Carlie C's grocery store.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities have not released the man's identity as the investigation continues. But on Tuesday, our newsgathering partners at the News & Observer reported that the victim is a member of the Durham rap group 83 Babies.
Just 10 days earlier, a former member of the rap group, Tevin Burney, and another man were found shot to death inside a car near North Roxboro Street.
Authorities have not said whether the cases are connected, saying only that the shooting appeared to be an isolated incident.
A third member of the 83 Babies is serving a life sentence for shooting and killing 9-year-old Z'yon Person, who was riding in an SUV with his family on the way to get snowcones with his cousins.
