Shaw University welcomes 'record setting' freshman class

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Shaw University had a record breaking enrollment for 2017, welcoming over 700 incoming freshmen.

On Monday, those students flocked to Raleigh to move into their dorms, excited to start the school year.

In 2016, university officials said they welcome over 600 students.
