Hanhan lies in a hospital bed after receiving an operation that changed her oversized skull with a normal sized skull created with a 3-D printer.
Three-year-old Hanhan's congenital hydrocephaly (with 85 percent hydrocephaly) made her skull three times bigger than average.
Doctors of the Second People's Hospital of Hunan Province, China used 3-D printing technology to create a titanium alloy skull.
Doctors then sucessfully set the skull into Hanhan's head during a 17-hour operation.
Hanhan's aunt holds her hand following the 3-year-old's operation.
