Missing Wake County teen found safe, sheriff's office says

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- A teenager previously reported missing in Wake County has been found safe.

The Wake County Sheriff's Office had been searching for 14-year-old Neymar Diaz after he was reported missing from the area of N. Spring Garden Circle in Raleigh.

Authorities later determined Diaz was a runaway and asked for the public's help locating him.

The sheriff's office has since confirmed Diaz has been located.

No additional information was released.
