A woman in Harnett County is facing charges after authorities said she led troopers on a high-speed chase.
The incident happened just after 6 p.m. when a trooper stopped a vehicle on West Cornelius Harnett Boulevard.
The North Carolina Highway Patrol said the trooper learned that the woman was wanted for felony warrants in Wake County. The trooper then attempted to take the woman into custody before she drove away.
After a short chase, troopers said they performed a PIT maneuver to stop the woman's vehicle. She then got out of the vehicle and attempted to run before she was captured and taken into custody.
The woman was taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries she received in the chase.
