Man charged in Fayetteville house party shooting

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Police have arrested a man in a shooting at a Fayetteville house party on July 10.

Police said Uronde Hardin, 20, was shot just before 1 a.m. in the 1800 block of Wendover Drive. He was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center and later transferred to UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill where he remains in critical condition.

Tuesday, police announced 27-year-old Darrell Alan Thompson is charged with attempted first-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, and possession of a stolen firearm.
