Billy Graham exhibit to open
The Billy Graham exhibit is set to open on Friday at the North Carolina Museum of History

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- ABC11 got a preview of a new Rev. Billy Graham exhibit at the North Carolina Museum of History in Raleigh.

The exhibit opens Friday, one day before Rev. Graham's 97th birthday. Unfortunately, he isn't traveling much these days and won't be able to see it for himself. His son, Franklin, attended and said his father is doing well despite his old age.

The 5,000 square foot exhibit is titled "North Carolina's Favorite Son, Billy Graham and his Remarkable Journey of Faith." It tracks Billy Graham's life from growing up in a dairy farm in Charlotte to becoming one of the most popular evangelists in the world.

According to the museum, Graham preached live to nearly 215 million people, more than anyone in history. The exhibit is a partnership between the museum, Billy Graham Library, and Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

The exhibit is free. It continues until July 10.
