New cafe opens near Dix Park troll statues


RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Visitors to Dorothea Dix Park now have two new options for coffee, drinks and snacks while exploring the popular Raleigh destination.
The Dix Park Conservancy and the City of Raleigh have partnered to launch Cottage Coffee and Park Bar at the Flowers Cottage near Flowers Field.
The new concepts are located near the park's giant wooden troll sculptures and offer coffee, ice cream and other treats for park-goers.

The additions are part of ongoing efforts to enhance amenities for visitors at Dorothea Dix Park, one of Raleigh's most popular outdoor destinations.
