Raleigh police search for driver who struck woman along Carolina Pines Avenue

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Raleigh police are searching for a driver that hit a woman Friday morning

Around 3:30 a.m., officers responded to a call for a vehicle crash involving a pedestrian at Carolina Pines Avenue and Steel Street.

Investigators say the woman was walking on Carolina Pines Avenue and was hit by a car that left the scene. She was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

This is an ongoing investigation.
