HOPE MILLS, N.C. (WTVD) -- Authorities say a man driving an SUV drove through three yards and hit two homes Monday afternoon in Hope Mills.
It happened around 1:47 p.m. along Crystal Springs Road.
The driver, Marcell Campbell, said he had a seizure and passed out. Campbell was taken to the hospital to be tested for drugs.
Sheriff's deputies told ABC11 that Campbell did not have a valid driver's license.
Campbell is the same man who was shot by police in October when he allegedly tried to attack an officer with a bat.
There's no word yet on whether Campbell will be charged in connection with Monday's crash.
No one was seriously injured.
