Smith denies being paid to play for NC State
Dennis Smith Jr., the ACC freshman of the year in 2016-17, told NC State officials that he didn't know former Adidas consultant T.J. Gassnola and that neither he nor his family was paid by anybody to ensure Smith played for the Wolfpack.
