Airlines are still working to recover after that nationwide air traffic control disruption on Thursday night.
A New Jersey man was charged with threatening flight attendants and crew members on a flight from Miami to Newark on Sunday.
"He was scary," a witness said. "He started kicking profusely and started punching the window." Passengers on board restrained the man with zip ties and a shoelace.
Passengers had to restrain a man who was violently kicking a seat and smashing a tray on a United Airlines flight from Austin to LAX.
The FBI says the suspect was walking back to his seat from the bathroom when he attacked the victim, who was sound asleep, in a random row that was not his. "The next thing I know, I just hear the these blood-curdling screams," said a passenger.
For the second time in three months, federal authorities are investigating an incident in which a passenger boarded a flight without a ticket and landed in Los Angeles.
