Tarboro police looking for murder suspect

TARBORO, N.C. (WTVD) -- Tarboro police are looking for a suspect after a man was fatally shot Sunday evening.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. at the Pender Square Apartments on Benson Drive.

When officers arrived, they said they found 30-year-old Reginald "Reggie" Alston with several gunshot wounds. He died soon after.

Police have identified the suspect as Darius Juwan Council, 20, but have not been able to locate him. He's wanted for first degree murder.
