Teen injured in boating accident on Falls Lake

WAKE FOREST, N.C. (WTVD) -- A young girl is recovering in a hospital after a boating accident on Falls Lake.

Officers at the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission say the teenager was hurt when two jet skis collided.

It happened Saturday around 2:15 p.m. near the boat ramp off of Creedmoor Road.

Officials say her injuries are non-life-threatening.

The investigation is ongoing.
