Serious crash on I-495 northbound

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A truck and a car collided in the northbound lanes of the I-495 Knightdale Bypass in Wake County early Wednesday.

It happened near Exit 422, which is Hodge Road.

Pictures from the scene showed the car with heavy damage resting near a wall.

At least one person reportedly had serious injuries.

Investigators said the crash appeared to be weather related.
