Ambulance is involved in an crash on Hwy 55 and Clayton Rd

WILLOW SPRINGS, N.C. (WTVD) -- Two cars and an ambulance were involved in a crash just before 5 p.m. Sunday.

The crash happened on Highway 55 and Clayton Road.

The ambulance was transporting a person to the hospital when the crash happened.

North Carolina State Highway Patrol has not released any further details about the crash.
