Ever since she was in her 20s, Tyra Banks has dreamed of having children. Now, the former model and FABLife co-host is opening up about her struggle with fertility and criticism she has received for not yet having a child.

Banks and co-host Chrissy Teigen discussed the topic in an episode of FABLife airing on Monday, where Banks emotionally revealed the anguish she has suffered over the years.

"I'm so tired of seeing on my social media 'why don't you have kids? why don't you have kids?' You don't know, you don't know what I'm going through, you have no idea," an emotional Banks said on the show.

"When I was 23 years old, I used to tell myself 'in three years, I'm going to have kids.' Then I turned 24, 'in three years, I'm going to have kids.' And just every single year I kept saying that, and then after a while it's like 'ok now I want to and it's not so easy.'"

Banks revealed that she has undergone IVF procedures in hopes of conceiving, according to ABC News.

"I hope [for kids]," Banks said. "I don't just want one child. I want a litter! And I want to be the kind of mom where my child can come to me for anything."
