GoDurham bus driver reaches an amazing milestone

DURHAM (WTVD) -- A Go Durham bus driver has reached an amazing milestone.

Tonia Burnette has officially driven 2 million miles during the course of her 24-year career.

ABC11 learned that Burnette's commitment to public transit actually runs in the family. Her father, now retired, was a driver, and her son is also a driver.

The Durham native said she "loves meeting new people, I love to drive. I just love doing what I do."
