ABC11 Together: L&APSF luncheon, awards ceremony

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- ABC11 Together is putting spotlight on the Lawrence & Artelia Perry Scholarship Fund.

The Lawrence & Artelia Perry Scholarship Fund (L&APSF) was established in 2011 with the mission of assisting financial and moral support for students seeking to achieve higher education goals.

The scholarships are awarded the bases of merit and need to students who have attended the public schools in Durham and who are enrolled at Bennett College in Greensboro, Livingstone College in Salisbury, or North Carolina Central University in Durham.

The awards ceremony for 2026 is Saturday, May 23 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Washington Duke Inn.

L&APSF is an IRS 501(c)(3) public corporation organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes.
